So after the disappointing Ramen dinner, we went next door to Roti House to check out their dessert menu. I felt a little weird that we're basically restaurant-hopping, but the waiter said that it was fine for us just to have dessert :)

A few people at work went to Ka Sushi Ramen last week and a couple of them told me how good the food was. For our date night this week, E took me Thai Chiang Rai, a Thai restaurant in North Canberra. E bought a voucher from GroupOn, which entitled us to an entree, 2 mains, rice and a bottle of wine for $49. We thought it was a pretty good deal, since our 2 mains alone would have costed around $50.

E took me to The Hermitage one night for our date night. The Hermitage has special nights where they offer a special discounted menu. Located near the Canberra theatre, I assume they get most of their money from lunches and theatre-goers, as I have never actually seen the place full with diners, even though the place is pretty small. Last week, for our date night, we tried Street of Asia restaurant at Tuggeranong. There are a lot of restaurants that have moved towards the front of the shopping centre, having major renovations and looking quite flash! Street of Asia is one of them.
